After announcing the retirement of the W16, enthusiasts speculated about the new engine from the manufacturer. Now, the new clip reveals that Bugatti will uphold the tradition of 16 cylinders and that the new engine will be electrified.
Bugatti has not disclosed further details, but the teaser suggests a high-revving engine, with an estimated speed of around 9,500 rpm, according to calculations by the Motor 1 website, in addition to the assistance of three electric motors to generate a combined power of 1,800 hp.
According to information from CNN, the new V16 engine will make its debut in the middle of this year when Bugatti unveils its latest model, expected to happen in June. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the production of the model is scheduled for 2026.
